Music Director
The Littleton Symphony Orchestra (LSO) is seeking a Music Director to serve as Artistic Director and Principal Conductor beginning with the 2022-23 season. Reporting to the LSO Board of Directors, the Music Director programs and conducts works each season from the full range of orchestral literature as well as popular music. The LSO, a community orchestra in its 37th season, is part of the vibrant cultural scene in the Denver metropolitan area. Recent seasons have included four subscription concerts, one holiday concert, one children’s concert, and an early evening New Year’s Eve concert fundraiser.
The successful applicant will have a breadth of knowledge in the orchestral repertoire and meet the following preferred requirements:
· Advanced degree in Music or equivalent years of commensurate experience
· Five years of orchestral conducting experience
· Commitment to uphold the LSO vision, core values, and policies
