DEPUTY DIRECTOR/Chief Operating Officer
An integral part of the senior leadership team who will work alongside the director, curators and senior departments, and who will be chief staff liaison with several working committees of MASS MoCA's Board of Trustees, the ideal candidate will have a passion for contemporary performing and visual arts, an entrepreneurial mindset and depth of experience in organization-wide operations, including:
· Broad working knowledge and experience in the production and administration of contemporary visual and performing arts, music, dance and theater;
· A track record of entrepreneurial management of key revenue line items, in overall budget management and general operations.
· Proven financial and project management skills. Familiarity with managing commercial and not-for-profit real estate and physical facilities is preferred.
