ASSOCIATE PRODUCTION MANAGER
The Associate Production Manager is a senior member of the Operations Department and works closely with the Production Manager in supervising all aspects of the Production Department. The Associate Production Manager works closely with the Programming Department and the Finance and Administration Department on the planning, advancement, execution, and close out of all events at the Atlas Performing Arts Center.

Essential Duties
Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Department Management
    o Work closely with the Director of Operations and Production Manager in the coordination of Production, Facilities, and event related scheduling and project management
    o Actively participate in the creation and management of department budgets
    o Assist the Production Manager in hiring, scheduling and supervising Production Department personnel
    o Supervise the management and maintenance of venues, equipment, and support shops
    o Identify maintenance, repair, and long-term upgrades of production department facilities and equipment
    o Attend weekly Operations Department meetings, production meetings, cross-departmental meetings, and ad hoc meetings as required
    o Support fellow team members in their duties as necessary to ensure a seamless and professional experience for both internal and external clients
    o Support a safe and healthy workplace by assisting the Director of Operations with their duties as safety officer
  • Event Management
    o Along with the Production Manager, serve as an administrator and primary user of Ungerboeck, the event management system used by the Atlas Performing Arts Center, and connected software solutions, in the advancement and execution of events including contract creation and execution
    o Work with internal and external clients to create top quality events while upholding the highest standards in professionalism
    o Organize and manage production meetings as required to successfully advance each event
    o Schedule Production Department staff and part-time personnel in coordination with the Production Manager
    o As necessary, support production teams and clients with hands-on project participation

Qualifications
Minimum three years of experience as a member of a Production or Stage Management team in a multi-venue arts facility. Ability to work nights and weekends as required. Ability to work well with a team. Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems effectively. Ability to multi-task under time constraints and effectively lead staff. Excellent financial, administrative, and organizational skills. Excellent computer skills with knowledge of industry-specific software such as Ungerboeck, CAD programs, Lightwright, Qlab or Isadora, etc. Experience reading architectural and theatrical design drawings. Excellent people skills in a customer service environment. Ability to operate in a flexible manner and adapt to changing circumstances. Individual must be trustworthy and dependable.

Work Environment: Ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must be able to safely lift and carry 50 lbs.
