59 Productions is seeking candidates for the newly created position of Operations & Production Associate for the expansion of its office in New York City. 59 Productions is one of the world’s leading creative producers of content for stage productions, museum installations, live music performances, large scale events, and film.
The Operations & Production Associate will play a key role in communications on all North American based projects and act as primary liaison with 59 Productions’ headquarters in London. The ideal candidate will be service-oriented, proactive and highly organized with the ability to implement, coordinate and support multiple projects simultaneously, under tight deadlines, and across multiple time zones.
This is a dual-role position reporting primarily to the General Manager (UK office) whose department provides the company's UK and US offices with Communications, Logistics, Contract Services, and Production assistance; and secondarily to the US Director for whom this position will provide executive level administrative support. This position is based in the New York City office but will feature approximately one week per quarter in the London office and may involve limited additional travel on an as-needed basis.

Be proficient with financial and word processing software including but not limited to: MS Office, QuickBooks, Dropbox, Adobe Acrobat, project management and social media channels
Have a proven track record of excellence in customer relations and comfort level working with strong personalities
Share a passion for and knowledge of the performing arts/entertainment, exhibition or design sectors
Know the nuance of union rules/negotiations in the US theatrical industry and have an existing network of creative contacts
At least two years professional experience required. Client relations, entertainment industry, and/or project management experience preferred.
