With this job, you can expect to manage public art projects with budgets from $10K to $2 million; develop of artwork opportunities in collaboration with many City departments; manage artist selection processes; work in partnership with the AIPP Panel and staff Panel meetings preparation; negotiate and monitor artist contracts and budgets; perform project management and oversight throughout artist design, fabrication and installation process; work with construction processes, permitting, read plans, and work within construction schedules; prepare and deliver information for presentation at public meetings and at City Council; organize of events/artwork dedications; develop and present workshops, symposia and classes; perform public speaking on public art.
