Laguna Playhouse, a nationally acclaimed, professional theatre located steps away from the Pacific Ocean in the charming arts colony of Laguna Beach, CA seeks a new Director of Development to lead Laguna Playhouse into its 100th anniversary. The Director of Development will work with the Board of Trustees, Executive Director, and staff to raise contributed revenue of $1.2 million + annually. Successful candidates will have demonstrated success in a senior fundraising position, leadership abilities and consensus building skills. Responsible for providing leadership and management of all fundraising campaigns, the Development Director will work with leadership, staff, and volunteers to achieve the goals of and assertively expand growth in the fund development programs of the Playhouse. Laguna Playhouse will consider applicants with college degrees who have a clear track record of success in cultivating and soliciting major support for both capital and annual campaigns. The successful candidate must have at least five years of experience in fund raising positions.
