Arena Stage’s multi-arts summer day camp seeks dynamic instructors to teach hands-on classes to ages 8 to 15 this summer. Positions in multiple disciplines available.
Instructor plans and teaches curriculum for four daily activities. Instructor
also participates fully in camp events and acts as a group leader to a small
group of campers.

- Experience working with young people; teaching experience within art form preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, outstanding undergraduates considered
- Ability to plan and teach hands-on, age-appropriate activities that encourage creativity and skill building
Visual arts: All media, especially drawing, painting, 3-D art, graphic design and photography
Dance: All styles, especially hip-hop and contemporary. Versatility a plus.
Stage Combat: Certified combatant with proven ability to teach safe classes
Film & Media: Classes are hands-on not analysis/appreciation classes.
Seven weeks, full-time from June 18-June 22 (staff training) and June 25-August 4 (camp sessions)
