The Lied Center is seeking a Development Manager to manage all fundraising programs at the Lied Center including individual giving, corporate sponsorship, grants and major gifts. Manager is responsible for creating and implementing an annual development plan and providing long term strategy. Responsible for hiring and supervising development staff. Manager will participate actively in direct fundraising activities and cultivations. Nights & weekends required based on event schedule.
Salary: $50,000 - $75,000 annually, based on experience.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business, art administration/arts, hospitality or related field (equivalency considered) plus three years management of nonprofit fundraising/development experience, with proven work history of raising no less than $100,000 in annual campaign support at a recognized organization (incorporated) required. Experience cultivating relationships with current and potential contributors essential. Must have experience in areas such as corporate fundraising; development of individual giving and grant writing or equivalent. Working knowledge of PC-based word processing, spreadsheet, database and presentation software necessary. Superior interpersonal relationship skills; strong communication skills (both oral and written); and proven management/leadership abilities required.
